One day the boss of Mercedes Benz has a problem with the water faucet in his home. On the recommendation of his friend, he called a plumber to fix his faucet. When contracted, the plumber did not know that the caller is the boss’s biggest car company owners in Germany.

One time, Howard Schultz came up with brilliant ideas. He urges Jerry to transform Starbucks into Italian-style espresso bar. After lengthy debate and argument, Jerry refused because even a good idea, Starbucks is being thrown into debt so it will not be able to finance the changes. Howard was then determined to establish his own company. Learning from Starbucks, he did not want to owe and chose to struggle to find investors. And, the choice is then made to work extra hard. Rejected and humbled to be part of daily life that must be faced. Determination was realized and even with money collected from business, he managed to buy Starbucks.

However, hard work does not stop. When the acquisition happened, he found that many employees are suspicious and cynical look at the changes he brought. However, with the family system, he embraced and even employees granted stock options so that a sense of belonging in employees higher. Now, aided by a CEO, Orin C Smith, Howard managed to expand to tens of thousands of Starbucks branches around the world. He also emphasized the friendliness of customer service, and on the other hand, treating employees as family.

The story above is the examples from few stories of people who achieve success because they offer a friendly and maximum service. Each person would have wanted a career of increasing employment and better. Many things can be done to achieve it, including by providing quality services and do all the duties and responsibilities with the best quality. Everyone wants the best services, and when we sincerely provide quality service then we would be honored and respected.
By providing quality service and sincere in our work environment, then we will achieve success in all things in our workplaces. For that, we need to keep ourselves in order not to get stuck in the praise we have received, because if we are wrong in responding to such praise, it will create a seed of arrogance that can be damage our sincere attitude in providing a quality service.
